the cool thing something like usb drives is that you can reuse them every time you have a up to date project. I use one of my 1 gigs to copy a movie from my pc and run it downstairs to the big blind. I can carry plentifully more programs with me when i'm working within the field instead of a dozen cd's. And when the utilities become outdated, I simply erase them and replace near the newer version. I can verbs many files from one computer to another more fast than burning them to a cd. And like I said once done I can erase them and start again or preserve them indefinitely for later use.
