presently i am have home edition of XP installed i want to upgrade to express edition and i am having the cd's of express edition plz lend a hand

You can upgrade to Win XP Professional without formatting. Just read the instructions on the peak carefully. There is Microsoft Outlook Express but NO Win XP Express.
