2.1V RAM on a 1.8V motherboard?

If I be to install 2.1V RAM to a motherboard that only supports 1.8V, what would be the result? Fried RAM?

Well it would most feasible not fry the RAM since you would end up undervolting it, you would be more feasible to fry it if you were overvolting. What very well end up going on is it will not work at all, or it will work at a slower speed, or if it does work at the stated speed, you will acquire errors.
