If i procure An NVIDIA 8800 Ultra NOW, then Later on i buy another one, Will it work Properly?
(AND AGAIN, PLEASE NO DUMB ANSWERS AND NO PEOPLE CURSING ME OUT FOR BUYING THIS CARD, AND SAYING THAT IM RICH, AND IM ACTUALLY NOT, ITS JUST SAVINGS)
Thank You
Another 8800 Ultra Question?
Yes, as long as the 8800 Ultra you purchase within the future is made by equal manufacturer you'll be fine! Infact, if I remember correctly a GTX will even work near it - but don't hold me to that...
In the near adjectives, NVidia has stated that beside new drivers you will be capable of use different manufacturer's as well.
So to offer you a simple answer - YES you can safely purchase an 8800 Ultra immediately and have without doubt no problems adding another latter, as long as they are the same brand.
With the no answer answer below...
A single 8800 Ultra will not draw that much power even below heavy nouns. I'd say an Enermax Liberty 500 would be ok, but depending on drives and how complicated you want to really push your PSU I'd go for a moment bigger. Video Cards use 12V power supplies (among Hard Drives, CD/DVD Rom's / Burner's and fans...). An Antec True Power Trio 620W would probably be a impeccable choice and extremely efficient!! Unless you know for sure that you'll be buying a 2nd Ultra contained by the near adjectives...
Yes, but by the time you purchase another one it will probably no longer be the fastest card.
$580 to $850 each
x2= $1160 to $1700/ twosome WOW!

I hope your power supply is big enough.
