1GB = how various mb?

1GB = how various mb?

1024mb = 1Gb

Many companies cheat and use 1000, usually to rob you of a bit of space (some companies use 1000 for download limitations, or for disk sizes, web space etc).
1024 megabytes to a gigabyte
1024
1024
1024.

For graceful math, 1000.
1GB = 1024MB. But for those hard disk, memory card, mp3, etc. developer, they purloin 1GB as 1000MB.
Technically it is 1024 but most people use 1000 for convenience.
1024 bytes = 1 kilo byte [KB]

1024 kilo bytes=1 megabyte [MB]

1024 megabytes=1gigabyte [GB]

1024 gigabytes=1 terabytes [TB]
It go something like this, 1 byte(smallest),1000 bytes = 1 kilobyte,1000 kilobytes,(kb) = 1 megabyte (mb),1000 megabytes =1 gigabyte (gb). hope that help.
1 GB = 1024MB
1024mb =1gb
1024

or

1000
1024 MB
It is 1024, not 1000 as it seems at first.

The drive why 1024 is used instead of 1000 is because the computer works only near 0s and 1s, so when it addresses its information, it uses binary addresses. So, in recent times as it makes sense to use a bottom 2 power (1024 = 2^10) for a binary system; just close to it makes sense to use a floor 10 power (1000 = 10^3) for a decimal system.
