1Gb 400mhz+512mb 200mhz VS 1Gb 400mhz alone?

only added a spare 512mb 200mhz ram to my 1Gb 400mhz push. it works but just wondering if the 200mhz will greatly affect the entire push performance of the mechanism?

1Gb 400mhz+512mb 200mhz VS 1Gb 400mhz alone?

1Gb 400mhz+512mb 200mhz had the lead of multi-tasking, while 1Gb 400mhz alone had the pre-eminence of speed. so what do you want?
If you have a It depends on your motherboard. If you enjoy four slots for the ram put the first within the slot close to the CPU and skip a slot and place the other. It should work fine. but if you have singular two slots then it depends on the speed of the hit that the board supports.
Your PC should run faster with the 1Gb ddr400.

When you put 2 run into sticks with different speeds, BIOS will other synchronize the speed to that of the slowest, which is 200mhz in your baggage.
Not really. As most people will never interest the performance drop because the computer is running on a slower RAM speed due to a slow RAM. Only benchmarking programs would see a speed difference.

Even if you're playing games, you'd never sense the speed degration, it would even be generally faster since you own more RAM in your system.
