Can rubbing alcohol harmed a compact disc?

I regularly use rubbing alcohol to verbs smears and fingerprints off the shiny side of most of my CDs. Can rubbing alcohol (used on any side) damage a compact disc?

Can rubbing alcohol harmed a compact disc?

No, it will not damage it.

Rubbing alcohol is certainly a very dutiful way to verbs CDs because it air dries suddenly.

Water and dish detergent is also effective as long as you consent to the water nouns dry instead of sun-dry or towel dry (which is bad.)
No it wont pull a CD.
nope
Use soft napkin next to little water on it.
Yes, alcohol and plastic do not mix. The solitary thing you should be using on the CD's is distilled wet.

Check out this homemade cleaning fluid:

Probobly not, but it has oil in it that may hand down streaks and affect readability.

You want isopropyl alcohol, besides it's cheaper.
no it wont, but if ur worried about it a microfibre (eye specs wipe cloth) and a little but of windex would be gentler on your cds than straight rubbing alchahol.
nope
