Hey adjectives, I was wondering if someone could recommend a video card for me? I want to play games similar to C&C3, Gary's mod, Doom 3, Quake 4, WoW, BF2, BF2142etc... at a decent aspect to FPS ratio. Also, on a budget of $140 or under My current system is:
Intel Pentium D 805 Smithfield 2.66GHz OC'ed to 3.41GHz
1GB (2x512mb) Dual concentrate DDR2 memory
PCIe ATi Radeon X1550(maybe XT) 256MB
Windows XP pro
450W PSU

1 upgrade your psu to something close to 550w or 600w. try to add more bump. as far as anything goes. you get a good gaming system right nearby already.

economically id voice your best bet in nvida would be 8600gt its a touch dearer than one forty well i rewarded 170 for mine last week but any track its a good alround card next to directx 10 capibilitys and 256 of ddr 3 ram i can play nothingness perfect and warfighter and games close to that so u shouldnt go wrong next to one of those
