Can someone explain to me simply what the megabites and kbites are how it works it is so confusing?

I stipulation to understand how several megabites make up a kgbite or which style it goes told you i be confused

Can someone explain to me simply what the megabites and kbites are how it works it is so confusing?

it's not megabites, it's usually megabytes and megabits is something else.

Yes it is very confusing, conceivably a table will help you.

1bit = 1 or 0, the smallest piece of information a computer can manipulate

1byte = 8bits

1Kilobyte = 1024bytes = 2^10 bytes

1Megabyte = 1024Kilobytes = 2^20 bytes

I guess it's not much of a table but I hope it's easy satisfactory to understand.

FYI: They granted to use the metric prefixes so allot of people will insist on using the metric definition which only add to the confusion, it's just a big mess is adjectives.
ok its not that confusing, ill try to explain as best i can, everything contained by a computers HDD is made up of 'bits' all these bits add on up to form 'bytes' once you have 1024 'bytes' you enjoy 1 kilobyte, 1024 kilobytes make up 1 megabyte and 1024 megabytes trademark up one gigabyte.

the smallest form of bits and bytes is the 'bit' followed by the byte, kilobyte, megabyte and gigabyte. there are abundantly more (leading all the channel to yottabyte, which is 10 to the 1 billionth gigabytes) but i said id maintain it simple:

the more 'gigabytes' you have, the more notes you can store, just email me if you own trouble of look at the souce list below!

wallow in!
Computer understand single binary language medium it depends on binary numbers like(0,1,0,1).

each number specified as bit.Bytes is the collection of bits kilobytes is collection of bytes.

1024megabytes make one kgigabyte.
